Blue Chip Sponsor Competition

Blue Chips recent sponsorship competition gave dedicated riders all over the UK the chance to work a long side the feed company for the forthcoming year.

There were over 200 riders who applied, however these had to be shortlisted to just 6 riders.

The final Junior competitors for Showjumping were:

Chloe Gunning – 15
Hannah Barham – 15
Katie McNamara – 15
Iwan Carpenter – 12
Jess Howard – 14
Tahnia Jordan-Jones – 13

The final Senior competitors for Showjumping were:

Liam Fitzgerald – 18
Jess Dimmock – 22
Tor Heard – 29
Annabel Shields – 23
Kate Lewis – 17
Rachel Horton – 23

All candidates portrayed attributes which would have been largely beneficial to Blue Chip, making any rider an asset to their team of ambassadors. But June 19th saw a close to the competition, and the winner for each category was announced on the 21st June.

 

Tahnia Jones

Junior Winner, Tahnia Jordan-Jones, was one of the youngest competitors to enter the junior section. Tahnia has won both the 128 class at Hickstead 2014 and National 138 Championship in 2015. Tahnia has now taken the step up 148’s proving to be successful with her ride Caspar.

 

 

 

kate lewisSenior Winner, Kate Lewis, has many titles under her belt. Kate had a successful career on ponies, with the highlight being riding at HOYS 2015, with her 148 ride the Dark Emporer. Following her success, Kate has now moved up to Seniors, taking her junior ride the Dark Emporer with her to compete alongside her horses, Vileva II and Magika at a high level.
